• Electronics: Low-stress bonding (adjustable CTE)

3. Elastomers

• Seals: Compression set <20% (ASTM D395)

• Medical: ISO 10993 certified

4. Foams

• Insulation: Thermal conductivity 0.022W/(m·K)

• Furniture: Resilience >60% (ISO 8307)

Safety & Handling

Storage:

• Airtight, dark (explosion-proof for solvent types)

• 10-30°C (prevent freezing for waterborne)

PPE Requirements:

• Respirator (for isocyanates, TLV 0.005ppm)

• Nitrile gloves/goggles mandatory

Spill Response:

• Absorb with sand (NEVER use water)

• Skin contact: Wash immediately with PEG-300

Transport:

• Non-hazardous (solvent types may require UN-certified packaging)

• Incompatible with amines/alcohols
